This is a church in Münchingen, Bern Canton, Switzerland, built in 1970. Since 2010, a series of green and energy-efficient renovations have been carried out one after another: geothermal heat pumps, thermal insulation, ventilation systems, and a rooftop photovoltaic system.
The rooftop photovoltaic system, installed in 2022, has a total installed capacity of 149 kWp and an annual power generation capacity of 138,800 kWh, enabling the entire building to achieve an energy self-sufficiency rate of 670%. The building was awarded the “Norman Foster Solar Certificate” for 2022.
