Carbon Neutral Development Background
Since the industrial revolution, the global economic and social development has greatly increased the emission of greenhouse gases, and the greenhouse effect in the atmosphere has continued to increase, leading to global warming. In human production and life, the combustion of fossil energy such as coal, oil, and natural gas produces a large amount of carbon dioxide, which is the most important component of greenhouse gases. China has proposed the goal of peaking carbon dioxide emissions by 2030 and achieving carbon neutrality by 2060.
