PV Headlines presents incomplete statistics on publicly available information regarding photovoltaic EPC project bidding/winning bids for the 4th week of August (August 25–29). This week, the total tendered capacity amounted to 4,356.88 MW, while the total awarded capacity reached 3,204.32 MW. Together, the tendered and awarded capacities totaled 7,561.20 MW.


 

This week, the photovoltaic module projects awarded through bidding have a clearly defined total capacity of 3 GW, with the highest bid price at 0.7310 yuan/W and the lowest at 0.7215 yuan/W.


 

This week, the average price for distributed large-scale EPC projects was 2.7718 yuan/W, while the price for centralized large-scale EPC projects was 2.8034 yuan/W.

August 29, China Resources Power's Centralized Procurement of Photovoltaic Module Equipment for the 2nd Batch of PV Projects in 2025 Notice of Bid Winning Results: Changzhou Huayao Optoelectronic Technology Co., Ltd., Xinxin Integrated Technology Co., Ltd., and JA Solar Technology Co., Ltd. have been awarded the contract, with winning unit prices ranging from 0.7215 to 0.7310 yuan/W.


 

The tender announcement indicates that The project is divided into 3 sections, with a total capacity of 3 GW. Among them:
 


 

Section One The total procurement capacity is 1,500 MWp, and the components procured are N-type TOPcon bifacial double-glass monocrystalline modules, with dimensions measuring 2,382 × 1,134 × 30 mm and a power output of ≥620 Wp.


 

Section Two The total procurement capacity is 1,200 MWp, and the components procured are N-type TOPcon bifacial double-glass monocrystalline modules, with dimensions measuring 2,384 × 1,303 × 33 mm and a power output of ≥710 Wp.

According to publicly available information compiled by PV Headlines, this week, Zhejiang Energy Group, China Energy Engineering Group, CGN, LiaoYang Green Energy Technology Co., Ltd. of Huoqiu County, Baowu Clean Energy, China Merchants Group, China Carbon Aviation Investment New Energy Group Co., Ltd., Chaozhou Urban Construction Investment Group Co., Ltd., Guangzhou Suikai Electric Power Co., Ltd., Xiamen Juyuan Energy Technology Co., Ltd., Sichuan Senian New Energy Technology Co., Ltd., and Guangde Suian Environmental Energy Co., Ltd., among others, announced a total of 15 winning bid projects. Total capacity: 3,204.32 MW. Among them, Zhejiang Energy Group ranks first with 2047.73 MW, China Energy Engineering Group comes in second with 751.52 MW, and China General Nuclear Power Group secures the third spot with 291.83 MW.

Among them, Huadian ranks first with 2,716.25 MW, followed by Jinda Hongjing (Shache) New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. in second place with 1,000 MW, and China National Petroleum Corporation in third place with 179.26 MW.

The project will be executed under an EPC general contracting model, covering all aspects of project construction, grid connection procedures, project site investigation, design, procurement, and turnkey construction—including environmental protection, water conservation, occupational safety and health engineering, safety monitoring systems, fire protection facilities, as well as production and domestic water supply systems. Additionally, the scope includes environmental monitoring and acceptance processes, along with water conservation monitoring and related activities.

Project Overview: This project is expected to install a photovoltaic capacity of 5.89 MWp (DC side). The project will be constructed and operated under the EPC+O model, encompassing—among other activities—assisting the employer in obtaining approval for the grid connection plan, providing design services (including preparation of construction drawing budgets), procurement, construction, testing, commissioning, trial operation, and support with all necessary administrative procedures, as well as ongoing operations and maintenance.
