I. Green Certificate Issuance Status
In July 2025, the National Energy Administration issued 236 million green certificates, covering 235,800 renewable energy generation projects. Among these, 166 million green certificates were tradable, accounting for 70.63%. This issuance included 194 million green certificates corresponding to renewable energy electricity generated in June 2025, representing 82.36% of the total. From January to July 2025, the National Energy Administration issued a total of 1.607 billion green certificates, with 1.125 billion of them being tradable.

II. Green Certificate Trading Situation
In July 2025, 68.21 million green certificates were traded nationwide, including 34.72 million green electricity trading certificates. From January to July 2025, a total of 416 million green certificates were traded across the country, with 141 million of those being green electricity trading certificates.
Nationwide Green Certificate Trading Volume Overview
In July 2025, the nationwide volume of individually traded green certificates reached 33.49 million, with an average transaction price of 4.61 yuan per certificate—representing a month-on-month increase of 35.42%.
