Near-zero carbon, near-zero/ultra-low energy consumption buildings

Project Overview: This project is a transportation building located in the Initial Development Zone of Mingzhu Bay, Nansha New Area, Guangzhou City. The project covers a total land area of 3,581 square meters, with a total floor area of 1,352.4 square meters and a building height of 12 meters. The construction entities are the Guangzhou Nansha New Area Mingzhu Bay Development and Construction Administration Bureau and Guangzhou Nansha Mingzhu Bay Area Development Co., Ltd.

Low-carbon and energy-saving technologies: This project addresses the region's hot climate and the high annual energy consumption associated with air conditioning. By integrating multiple passive and active technologies, it significantly reduces building energy use while maintaining indoor comfort levels. Passive technologies include the integration of the building with a bus shelter canopy, the use of high-performance center-mounted louvered glass, selection of advanced building envelope materials, and thermal bridge break techniques. Active technologies involve deploying high-efficiency HVAC systems, adopting cutting-edge lighting solutions, and installing a comprehensive building-wide energy monitoring and control system along with an intelligent lighting management system. Additionally, a monocrystalline silicon photovoltaic power generation system has been installed on the bus shelter canopy, covering an area of approximately 471 square meters.

Low-carbon benefits: The building achieved a comprehensive energy consumption value of 24.1 kWh/(㎡·a), with an energy-saving rate of 31.96% for the building envelope and an overall energy-saving rate of 86.29%. Additionally, the utilization rate of renewable energy reached 77%, meeting the near-zero-energy building performance requirements outlined in the national standard "Technical Standard for Near-Zero Energy Buildings."

Project Address: Located in the Lingshan Island Tip of the Nansha New Area's Initial Development Zone in Guangzhou City, on the eastern side of the Rain and Flood Park, it faces Feisha Road to the east, while the remaining three sides are all adjacent to the Rain and Flood Park.
