On July 29, the Xiong'an New Area Lvfa · New Era Plaza project officially passed the certification of the China Building Energy Conservation Association, becoming the nation's first 5A-level business complex to simultaneously obtain the dual certifications of "Zero Carbon Building" and "Zero Energy Consumption Building."

The project is located in the northwest area of the Xiong'an New Area startup zone, covering three plots: two zones (north and south) and one urban shared green belt, mainly for commercial office use. The surrounding area is planned with multiple residential zones, adjacent to numerous urban green spaces, rich in landscape resources, and equipped with various supporting facilities. Due to its proximity to high-end high-tech industrial research land to the east, it has great future development potential. The project includes 11 individual buildings: Building 1 is a five-star hotel, Building 3 is a self-owned office building, Building 4 is a three-star hotel, Buildings 2, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10 are office buildings for sale, and there is also one bus station. The above-ground floor area is 150,000 square meters, with a building height of 45 meters.
From the design phase, the project actively focused on the goal of building a "green smart new city," promoting green planning and design comprehensively and to high standards. All new buildings are designed according to the national three-star green building standards. Additionally, Building 1 (five-star hotel) is designed to WELL Platinum standards, Building 4 (three-star hotel) to WELL Gold standards, and Building 3 (self-owned office building) to national zero carbon and zero energy consumption building standards, striving to create Xiong'an New Area's first WELL Platinum certification and first zero carbon zero energy consumption building.

Its superior geographical location and carefully constructed "rail + highway + ecology" three-dimensional transportation network enable efficient one-hour direct access to Beijing, providing strong business support for relocating non-capital functions enterprises from Beijing and local enterprises in the new area, effectively promoting coordinated development of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.

The project innovatively practices the "park city" concept in planning and construction, cleverly relying on high-quality ecological bases such as the northern linear park and Fangcheng green corridor to create a unique business environment of "building a city within a park and having parks within the city," achieving harmonious coexistence between architecture and nature.
At the same time, the project actively adopts the TOD (Transit-Oriented Development) model, organically integrating rail transit hubs, modern industrial layouts, and urban ecological networks to form efficient, intensive, green, and low-carbon development units.

In interior space design, the project innovatively incorporates flexible carriers such as "shared office boxes," tailor-made for enterprises to create a full-chain service ecosystem integrating efficient office work, quality life, and diverse social interactions.

The project centers on green building design concepts, refining the beauty of regional cultural charm, integrating green technologies throughout the project lifecycle, comprehensively using green building materials such as ready-mixed concrete and waterproof membranes, and relying on a smart construction site data decision system to create a building "super brain." Currently, the main building's foundation slab pouring is completed, and the project has entered the main structure construction phase.

On August 12, at the construction site of the Haikong · Jiangdong Plaza project in Haikou Jiangdong New Area, workers were intensively carrying out curtain wall installation, electromechanical installation, and other construction operations. With the rapid progress of curtain wall installation, the project is beginning to take shape.

The Haikong · Jiangdong Plaza project covers a total land area of about 50 mu, with a total construction area of approximately 138,000 square meters, including about 85,000 square meters above ground, comprising 21 standalone multi-story office buildings and 4 high-rise standard office buildings.
The project is led by the world-renowned architectural firm—Germany's GMP Architects, benchmarked against international green low-carbon building standards, adopting ultra-low energy consumption and near-zero energy consumption building designs, equipped with rooftop photovoltaic power generation and high-performance curtain walls, among other advanced technologies, aiming to create a "breathing building" and green office experience, and has been awarded the China Green Building Three-Star Certification.

The project mainly adopts regional cooling, energy-saving transmission and distribution systems (including energy-saving fans, pumps, power distribution equipment, etc.), heat recovery technology applications, rooftop photovoltaic power generation, reclaimed water utilization, and a smart building equipment management platform to achieve the near-zero carbon park goal.

Based on energy consumption experience of commercial office buildings in hot summer and warm winter regions, the Haikong · Jiangdong Plaza project’s use of building curtain walls, air conditioning, lighting, photovoltaic, smart systems, reclaimed water systems, and other technical measures is expected to save about 80,000 tons of water annually, save about 2.38 million kWh of electricity, reduce carbon emissions by 1,230 tons, and with the project’s photovoltaic annual power generation estimated at 1.38 million kWh, it can reduce carbon by 700 tons. It is expected to control annual electricity consumption at about 5 million kWh, achieving a carbon dioxide reduction of about 1,930 tons, significantly reducing building energy consumption and carbon emissions.
The Haikong · Jiangdong Plaza project fully explores the development of new business models such as "energy + trade" and "energy + finance," further enriching key technologies of near-zero carbon buildings including active and passive energy-saving technologies, effective energy consumption modes of near-zero carbon urban parks, and carbon reduction methods, providing high-quality commercial and office space for the development of Jiangdong New Area.
