Aedas shaped the 264,000㎡ Hongqiao Exhibition and Trading Center into a giant "store-warehouse integrated" exhibition and sales cube 9×9/18×18 m composite column grid provides an 8.7 m clear height exhibition hall, which can instantly switch between expo, runway, or car show; the folding doors on the west side fully open, seamlessly connecting the 10,000㎡ first-floor space with the city. Continuous retail corridors from the second to fourth floors are stacked with offices, and the underground bonded warehouse connects directly to the pickup hall.
The facade uses the "Yin-Yang engraving" seal script translated into gradient aluminum louvers , with Low-E glass embedded with dynamic light screens, narrow in the east and wide in the west, both shielding elevated road noise and maximally opening to pedestrian flow.
