Since 2021, Shenzhen has launched four batches of 113 near-zero carbon emission zone pilot projects, involving six major fields and covering all districts of the city, forming a social carbon reduction pattern from point to area. This case sharing series will select some characteristic demonstration cases from the six types of pilots in regions, parks, communities, campuses, buildings, and enterprises to introduce their typical technical paths for exchange and reference.

Project Overview
Relying on leading companies such as Huawei Digital Power and CALB, the Antuo Hill Near-Zero Carbon Demonstration Area takes professional buildings as the industrial space carrier, introduces upstream and downstream supporting resources such as smart energy and comprehensive energy services, and will be built into the Antuo Hill Digital Energy Headquarters Economic Cluster.

Technical Path
Antuo Hill Zero-Carbon Demonstration Area is the world's largest "PV-ESS-DC" near-zero carbon park, integrating 80% of the world's carbon reduction technologies and promoting the birth of more than 20% of new technologies. The three buildings in the park replace the original glass curtain wall with BIPV thin-film components, of which the facade photovoltaic glass installation area is 28,886 square meters, and the roof photovoltaic installation area is 2,145 square meters, which can achieve an annual green electricity production of about 1.5 million kWh. The annual power consumption will be reduced from 11.92 million kWh to 5.9 million kWh, with an annual power saving of 51%, reducing carbon emissions by more than 63%.
Through PV-ESS-DC systems, building-integrated photovoltaics, scenario-based energy-saving design, advanced energy storage systems, and smart energy management technologies, the project provides the park with highly reliable, integrated green power supply guarantees, and utilizes leading intelligent temperature control management, smart lighting management, smart park management, and smart charging management to achieve terminal electrification, intelligent management, and near-zero carbonization of the park in scenarios such as office, living, and commerce.
