National Speed Skating Oval
Also known as the Ice Ribbon, as one of the landmark buildings of the Beijing Winter Olympics, the Ice Ribbon is also a representative photovoltaic building. The roof of the stadium is covered with cadmium telluride power generation glass, with a total installed capacity of 320 kilowatts, which can output 448,000 kWh of green electricity annually, and reduce 358,600 tons of carbon dioxide emissions annually. All the electricity generated by the project is used for the daily electricity consumption of the stadium.
