The Bydgoszcz Industrial and Technological Park has built a new 1600㎡ single-story kindergarten for the children of more than 5,000 employees in the park, which can accommodate 150 children.
The kindergarten has a theme of "Science and Engineering", with a weather station on the roof, exposed pipelines, interactive installations in the public area, cloud hanging chairs and a stargazing skylight. The building consists of three blocks, and the bathrooms are designed with fun using round windows and mirror dislocation. The surrounding area is composed of artificial grass hills, slides, sensory gardens, vegetable gardens and lavender fields. The facade is covered with green plants and irrigated with rainwater, and ecological education is conveyed everywhere in the details.

Transform the gray roof into a three-dimensional forest for an immersive experience of nature in a high-density city
Alibaba Xixi Park Area C Landscape Design by ASPECT Studios

© 王文杰
Alibaba Xixi Area C, with an area of 26 hectares, is built on a multi-layered platform. ASPECT Studios uses the "BioHabiNet" framework Transform the gray roof into a three-dimensional forest : Algorithm-optimized biological swales and rainwater channels are woven into a network and flow into the central lake, taking into account flood storage, irrigation and habitat; the floating "halo canopy" is arranged according to the flow of people and sunlight, providing shade, landmarks and social stages.
Native multi-layered vegetation, water bodies and structures form a cell-like network, which has attracted cranes, dragonflies and frogs to settle in the short term. All rainwater is collected and reused on site, and the soil thickness and irrigation system are precisely calculated, Ensure that 30,000 employees can obtain an immersive natural experience, diverse activity paths and continuous ecological resilience in a high-density city.

Taking Lingnan symbols as the bone, translating traditional culture into interactive installations
《高升》&《上岸》 by BAM百安木

BAM takes Lingnan symbols as the bone and translates traditional roof ridges, lion dances, and square bamboo into fluorescent geometric bodies . "Going Ashore" implants water level columns, mythical animal ceramics and hanging wood into the pond. The roof is folded like a boat shed, the columns simulate the bending of square bamboo, and the color blocks flicker in the forest.
"Rising High" deconstructs the lion dance: giant eyes, open jaws, spring whiskers and four "long bamboo legs" support the swing, and the bamboo knots at the end turn into "lucky feet", and the lion's legs seem to step on the clouds when people swing. Both installations are pieced together with light steel, logs and handmade pottery, which are not only for interaction but also for blessings.

The bus terminal is transformed into "urban wings" to create a breathing gateway to Suzhou
Suzhou Wujiang Songling Avenue Bus Terminal by Nikken Sekkei

Nikken Sekkei transformed the 260,000㎡ Songling Avenue Bus Terminal into a 300 m "urban wing" . The two wings of the plane are divided into long-distance and special-line buses. The central URBAN CORE three-dimensional corridor runs from 3 floors underground to 3 floors above ground. The skylight pours down, guiding transfers, shopping and rest like streets and alleys. Waiting for the bus is like shopping. The facade is depicted with sharp horizontal lines to express speed, but on closer inspection, the aluminum perforated screen simulates the waterside lattice , softly separating the inside and outside; continuous setbacks and sky terraces bring greenery to each floor.
The undulating cyan tile image on the roof is abstracted into the folded ceiling of URBAN CORE, and the light and shadow flow with time, paying tribute to the changing scenery of Suzhou gardens. The three-dimensional pedestrian path with separated people and vehicles and sheltered from wind and rain is combined with commerce, allowing "passing through" to be upgraded to "staying", realizing a "breathing gateway".

New business space model of "store and warehouse integration"
Shanghai Hongqiao Import Commodity Exhibition and Trading Center by Aedas

© Aedas
Aedas has transformed the 264,000㎡ Hongqiao Exhibition and Trading Center into a giant exhibition and sales cube integrating "store and warehouse" : 9×9/18×18 m overlapping column grids provide 8.7 m high exhibition halls, which can be instantly switched to expositions, runways or auto shows; the folding doors on the west side are fully opened, and the 10,000㎡ first floor space is seamlessly connected to the city. The second to fourth floors are continuous retail corridors superimposed with offices, and the underground bonded warehouse leads directly to the delivery hall.
