198MW! Exclusively supplied by JA Solar! Warm congratulations on the full-capacity grid connection of the China Coal Pingshuo 160MW project!

Recently, The China Energy Engineering Group Shanxi Electric Power Construction Co., Ltd. undertook the construction, and JA Solar provided the modules for the 160MW photovoltaic power generation project of China Coal Pingshuo, which has achieved full-capacity grid connection.

The project is located in Pinglu District, Shuozhou City, Shanxi Province, covering a total area of 6200 mu, with a total installed capacity of 160MW and a DC-side capacity of 198MW.

During the project construction, facing problems such as continuous rainfall and tight concrete supply, the project department actively coordinated with multiple suppliers to organize on-site sub-contractors to implement staggered construction procedures. This resulted in the completion of foundation construction 80% ahead of schedule, achieving a one-time grid connection and power transmission 2 months ahead of schedule. During the initial grid connection, a new speed was created, completing 5 photovoltaic power generation units (approximately 19.6MW) within 16 days, including cable laying, racking, modules, grounding, and all electrical installation work.

After the project is put into operation, it is expected to generate 300 million kWh of electricity annually, saving about 160,000 tons of standard coal per year, reducing nitrogen oxide emissions by 577,000 tons, and reducing dust emissions by 8.3 tons. This will fully optimize the local energy structure and inject new impetus into ecological restoration.
