Frequent false information about new energy projects is emerging; wind and solar investment information needs to be carefully verified!

Recently, many places have debunked false information related to new energy projects, involving forged project registration information, illegal subcontracting of projects, and conducting business cooperation.

With the rapid development of new energy in China, wind power and photovoltaic new energy projects are increasing day by day, which has also allowed illegal elements to see opportunities to seek personal gain through improper means. Relevant partners need to be more cautious in identifying new energy projects when docking.

From the above situation of false new energy project information, although the forgery methods of illegal elements are easy to cause confusion, there are also official channels to verify new energy projects.

Regarding project registration information, compliant photovoltaic projects need to go through procedures such as NDRC registration, land approval from the Natural Resources Bureau, and environmental impact assessment from the Environmental Protection Bureau. Relevant documents will be announced on the government website and can be inquired and consulted on the local NDRC and government platform websites.

Regarding project bidding information, inquiries can be made through the bidding platforms of central enterprises involved in the project and the China Bidding and Tendering Service Platform. Some regions, such as Xinjiang, have official information channels such as the Xinjiang Government Procurement Website and the Aksu Regional Public Resources Electronic Bidding Platform to verify authenticity.

In addition, impersonating central enterprises and other new energy enterprises is also a common means for illegal elements to illegally profit. Previously, Huaneng , State Power Investment Group, Datang, and SPIC have all issued solemn statements regarding the impersonation of their subsidiaries.

Relevant parties can check the business information of their partners through the "National Enterprise Credit Information Publicity System", paying attention to the establishment time, registered capital, business scope, whether there are any business abnormalities or dishonest records, verifying the partner's information through multiple channels, and being wary of enterprises with short establishment times, registered capital that does not match the project scale, and business scopes that do not include new energy-related businesses.

Meeting Notice In 2025, the development of new energy in China is entering a new stage. In the long run, deserts, Gobi deserts, and barren lands with vast land resources are still the main bases for centralized wind and solar projects. The 2025 Shagohuang Photovoltaic Integrated Development Forum will be held in Ordos, Inner Mongolia on August 22, 2025. The meeting will discuss topics such as development policies, cost and economic efficiency, key technology discussions, and equipment selection for Shagohuang new energy bases, helping to achieve China's dual-carbon goals and promoting the coordinated development of new energy and ecology.
