Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT): Energy-saving inspections conducted on 41 polysilicon companies
On August 1, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued a notice on the task list for special energy-saving inspections in the polysilicon industry in 2025.
The notice requires that local MIIT departments, during industrial energy-saving inspections, must implement the "Opinions of the General Office of the State Council on Strictly Regulating Administrative Inspections Involving Enterprises," further standardizing industrial energy-saving inspection procedures and measures, effectively reducing the burden on enterprises, and submitting the inspection results to the MIIT (Department of Energy Saving and Comprehensive Utilization) before September 30, 2025.

Notice of the Office of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology on Issuing the Task List for Special Energy-Saving Inspections in the Polysilicon Industry in 2025

In accordance with the "Notice of the Office of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology on Organizing the 2025 Industrial Energy-Saving Inspection Work" (Gong Xin Ting Jie Han [2025] No. 120, hereinafter referred to as the "Notice"), the task list for special energy-saving inspections in the polysilicon industry in 2025 is hereby issued to you.
Local industrial and information technology authorities are requested to organize and implement the work in accordance with the requirements of the "Notice" and submit the inspection results to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (Department of Energy Saving and Comprehensive Utilization) before September 30, 2025. During industrial energy-saving inspections, the "Opinions of the General Office of the State Council on Strictly Regulating Administrative Inspections Involving Enterprises" (Guo Ban Fa [2024] No. 54) must be implemented to further standardize industrial energy-saving inspection procedures and measures and effectively reduce the burden on enterprises.
