Qinghai Science and Technology Museum

The Qinghai Science and Technology Museum BIPV photovoltaic power generation project was put into use on October 24, 2011. This project is China's first photovoltaic building facade application of electric tracking BIPV photovoltaic louvers project.

Its main feature is that the photovoltaic system design fully considers the integration effect of the photovoltaic system and the building, and designs a suitable photovoltaic system according to the characteristics of the building itself, applying photovoltaic louvers to the traditional electric glass louver control system.

Hundreds of photovoltaic louvers installed on the building facade can rotate on a single axis following the sun's position, effectively improving the power generation of the facade photovoltaic system. The photovoltaic louvers are perfectly integrated with the building, not only bringing an integrated aesthetic to the building, but the automatic tracking system also maximizes the efficiency of solar energy while enhancing the ventilation effect inside the building, which is a win-win situation.
