According to Seattle local media personality Randy Woods, Climate Pledge Arena utilizes many cutting-edge sustainable technologies, such as a system installed in its underground reservoir that collects and filters household wastewater, and a green roof that filters rainwater.
In addition, it is equipped with toilets that decompose waste through aerobic devices, rooftop solar panels that can power the entire building for a year, and large windows that provide ample natural light and ventilation.
Furthermore, the Climate Pledge Arena's concrete floor is equipped with a solar water heating and radiant heating system, and multiple 400-foot-deep heat exchange wells are built underground to help regulate office temperatures.
Climate Pledge Arena's building is equipped with sensors that can detect light intensity, carbon dioxide concentration, indoor and outdoor temperatures, and weather conditions.
