Nanjing: 3.4GW of distributed photovoltaic capacity available in the second quarter

On May 23, the Nanjing Municipal Development and Reform Commission released the "Information on Available Capacity for Distributed Photovoltaic Access to the Power Grid in Nanjing."

The document shows that, as of the first quarter of 2025, the available capacity for distributed photovoltaic access to the power grid in Nanjing is approximately 3428.22MW, including:

Urban area: 375.16MW,
Jiangning: 1011.44MW,
Jiangbei: 723.28MW,
Lishui: 512.23MW,
Gaocun: 806.10MW.

There are a total of 5686 public distribution lines of 10(20,6) kilovolts in Nanjing. 457 lines have experienced backfeeding due to distributed photovoltaic power generation, accounting for 8.04%. Among them, 457 lines have a maximum backfeeding load rate of less than 80%, accounting for 100%; and 0 lines have a maximum backfeeding load rate greater than or equal to 80%.

Announcement on the Public Release of Information on Available Capacity for Distributed Photovoltaic Access to the Power Grid in Nanjing

In accordance with the requirements of documents such as the "Notice of the National Energy Administration on Issuing the " (Guonei Xinenggui [2025] No. 7) and the "Implementation Opinions on the Implementation of the " issued by the Jiangsu Provincial Development and Reform Commission and the Jiangsu Energy Regulatory Office (Sufa Gai Gui Fa [2025] No. 2), our commission has organized the State Grid Nanjing Power Supply Company to dynamically calculate the available capacity for distributed photovoltaic access to the power grid. The calculation results (data as of March 31, 2025) are now publicly released.

Various distributed photovoltaic investment entities can inquire about the available capacity in various regions of the city through power supply business halls, the online State Grid, telephone inquiries, etc. The access margin shall be subject to the actual inquiry results.
