Hebei Province Announces 4.5GW Wind and Solar Power Indicators for the First Batch of 2025: Led by State Power Investment Group, Huaneng Group, and China Huadian Corporation

Hebei Announces 4.5GW Wind and Solar Power Targets for 2025: State Power Investment Corporation, Huaneng, and others take the lead

On April 22, the Hebei Development and Reform Commission released the "Hebei Province 2025 Wind Power and Photovoltaic Power Annual Development and Construction Plan First Batch of Proposed Projects." A total of 50 projects with a total capacity of 4,483,870 kW were proposed. Among them, photovoltaic projects account for 1.7233GW, and wind power projects account for 2.7606GW.

From the perspective of owner distribution, the State Power Investment Corporation and China Huaneng Group both have projects exceeding 500MW, mainly wind power projects. Details are shown below:

The latest grid connection deadline for these projects is the end of June 2028. The projects cover multiple prefecture-level cities including Shijiazhuang, Baoding, Cangzhou, Xingtai, Hengshui, Handan, and Xiong'an New Area.

Hebei Province 2025 Wind Power and Photovoltaic Power Annual Development and Construction Plan First Batch of Proposed Projects

In accordance with the requirements of the "Notice on Organizing the Application for the First Batch of Projects of the 2025 Wind Power and Photovoltaic Power Annual Development and Construction Plan" (冀发改能源〔2024〕1691号), after review by various cities, confirmation of access and consumption conditions by power grid companies, and review of basic requirements by third-party consulting units, projects that meet land use conditions and have received support from power grid companies are now publicly announced. A total of 50 projects with a total capacity of 4,483,870 kW are proposed. The specific list is in the attachment.

The announcement period is from April 22, 2025 to April 26, 2025. If there are any objections during this period, please contact the New Energy Section of the Provincial Development and Reform Commission (Energy Bureau).
