Recently, the low-carbon energy-efficient design project for the DK20230381 plot (Chanrong Building) of Suzhou Chanrong Science and Technology Industrial Development Co., Ltd., implemented by Chengtou Environmental Company, passed the low-carbon review and certification of the China Building Energy Efficiency Association. It is one of the first batch of zero-carbon building evaluation projects in 2025 and the only project in Suzhou to be selected.


Based on the construction positioning and user needs, the project starts from four dimensions: "passive technology application", "high-efficiency electromechanical system design", "renewable energy utilization", and "smart low-carbon operation and maintenance". It comprehensively applies a number of green and low-carbon technology strategies, reducing the building's design carbon emission intensity to 27.03 kgCO ₂ /(㎡a), exceeding 40% carbon reduction compared to the benchmark building, meeting the "Zero Carbon Building Technical Standard", and achieving the building's low-carbon goals.

Currently, green and low-carbon development has become an important direction for China's economic and social development. Suzhou Chengtou Group closely follows the "dual carbon" strategy, doing its best to "save" and exploring the path of green development in N ways.
"Carbon" 密科技 Energy Saving is No Longer Difficult
Chengtou Environmental Company took the lead in establishing the Suzhou Innovation Joint Body for the Comprehensive Technology and Equipment of Low-Carbon Recycling of Sludge and Soft Soil, focusing on tackling key technologies for the resource utilization of engineering sediment and sludge, allowing engineering sediment and sludge to be "reborn" as road materials, building materials, and other resources. This joint body has been selected as a 2024 Suzhou Innovation Joint Body cultivation project, and its core technology, "High-efficiency Road Application of Solidified and Modified Construction Waste," has been included in the list of advanced and applicable technologies for "Waste-free City" construction by the Ministry of Ecology and Environment.

At the same time, the company provides green, low-carbon, and energy-saving renovation design and implementation services for enterprises. It has successfully launched its first energy-saving and carbon-reduction project and has saved a total of 380,000 kilowatt-hours of electricity. Using the fifth-generation electromagnetic balance technology of the power distribution system smart energy-saving device to achieve stable voltage, stable current, and filtering, it solves problems such as unstable power voltage, unbalanced three-phase current, and harmonic pollution, achieving the dual effect of saving electricity and protecting equipment. This technology will be promoted in more projects in the future.
Photovoltaic Support, Rooftop Solar Bank

Since this year, Chengtou Regeneration Company has actively deployed comprehensive energy and carbon businesses, mainly including source-grid-load-storage, integrated energy stations, distributed photovoltaics, and energy-saving management, promoting projects such as the integrated energy station of the Sino-European Manufacturing Industry Park, the distributed photovoltaics of the Lion Mountain sorting center, and the energy-saving management of the Xingxiubridge sanitation transfer station. The previously completed energy-saving renovation project of the Fashion Stage has saved about 100,000 yuan, and the distributed photovoltaics of Phase 7 of the Biopharmaceutical Industrial Park has accumulated sales of 67,000 kilowatt-hours of electricity.
Low-Value Recyclables? We'll Take Them!
Chengtou Regeneration Company is seizing the progress of low-value recyclable material industrialization projects. At the Lion Mountain sorting center renovation site, builders shuttle among the equipment, working hard to build the first low-value recyclable material sorting factory in the Yangtze River Delta region. The project is expected to complete trial operation by the end of the second quarter, improve its process flow in the third quarter and start capacity climbing, and achieve a phased operational goal of 30 tons/day by the end of the year.



In terms of front-end classification and recycling, various regional companies are actively exploring the undertaking of "Three Defined and One Supervised" (三定一督) point business. The Taicang sector has already undertaken 105 "Three Defined and One Supervised" points in the Science and Education New Town, and the urban area sector has already cooperated with 56 communities and 17 schools to carry out pilot recycling work. In addition, the company has held more than 10 community publicity events on low-value recyclable material classification and recycling in areas such as the Beiyuan Community in Gusu District, the Dongzhu Farmers Market in the High-tech Zone, and the Taicang Science and Education New Town, conveying the concept of green living.
