Xiajiang Creates the Province's First Low-Carbon Logistics Platform

The comprehensive implementation of building-integrated photovoltaics (BIPV), with self-generated and self-used photovoltaic power and surplus power fed into the grid; the use of 5G, the Internet of Things, big data, and artificial intelligence technologies to improve intelligent management levels and reduce overall energy consumption... In recent years, Xiajiang County, Ji'an City, Jiangxi Province has actively responded to the green and low-carbon economic development strategy, explored a zero-carbon digital development model, and promoted photovoltaic construction in logistics parks, the electrification of logistics vehicles, and digital empowerment for carbon reduction, creating the province's first zero-carbon logistics platform.

Photovoltaic power generation, constructing a new energy supply system. Using "Building-Integrated Photovoltaics" (BIPV) technology, photovoltaic components are used as building materials, designed, constructed, and installed with the building, promoting the perfect integration of roof batteries and roof building materials, achieving an annual power generation of approximately 6 million kilowatt-hours. This not only meets the electricity needs of logistics park offices and warehousing but also effectively reduces carbon emissions from the energy supply side, reducing carbon dioxide emissions by an average of 2818.5 tons per year.

Digital empowerment, building a digital logistics management platform. Using the Gan-zhong Modern Logistics Park as a carrier, constructing a modern intelligent sorting center, intelligent cloud warehouse, and big data center, comprehensively utilizing key technologies such as 5G, the Internet of Things, big data, and artificial intelligence to achieve intelligent scheduling, intelligent loading, intelligent transportation, path optimization, and vehicle management, improving intelligent management levels, and effectively reducing the park's overall energy consumption. Currently, an intelligent four-way shuttle automated warehouse has been built, with 12,000 pallet positions, becoming the largest intelligent four-way shuttle automated warehouse in the province.

Resource sharing, improving the green and low-carbon transportation network. Taking the construction of the provincial logistics distribution system pilot county as an opportunity, 8 large-scale production enterprises have been introduced to settle in standard warehouses, implementing the sharing of office space, freight pallets, electric forklifts, intelligent loading, etc. It is planned to invest in 6,000 shared pallets, 20 shared electric forklifts, and 15 shared trucks. Currently, 1,500 shared freight pallets and 6 shared forklifts have been put into use, reducing the energy consumption of the production system by 5%-8% overall, bringing economic benefits to enterprises and promoting low-carbon and circular development in the park.
