To address the global climate crisis and promote China's achievement of its "dual carbon" goals, after achieving brilliant success in the field of new energy batteries, CATL has focused on building a green, intelligent, and livable urban environment. The design inspiration for the zero-carbon teahouse comes from the "Möbius strip," which symbolizes the philosophy of cyclical repetition. Unlike passive energy-saving technologies, this project actively empowers the building by introducing advanced new energy and intelligent interconnected technologies.
The entire building uses BIPV (Building Integrated Photovoltaics) materials and technologies, realizing full-cycle green electricity direct supply within a limited space. 。屋顶铺设的 Photovoltaic panels on the roof precisely fit the roof curve like calculus, making the entire building more visually coordinated. The exterior of the building makes extensive use of ultra-clear glass and UHPC (ultra-high performance concrete) This ensures a transparent view and ample lighting while effectively reducing energy consumption.

Meanwhile, located at the foot of the mountain, the smart charging station with light storage and charging and discharging functions provides basic charging services and also has vehicle-grid bidirectional interaction capabilities, enabling electric vehicles to discharge power to the teahouse, maximizing the utilization of electricity resources. It is estimated that the teahouse's annual power generation is about 55,000 kWh, reducing approximately 54.8 tons of CO ₂ emissions, equivalent to planting 3,000 trees. This is not only a tranquil resting place but also a perfect fusion of modern technology and natural aesthetics.
Unlike conventional rural construction methods, the zero-carbon teahouse built by HATCH has a great contrast to the surrounding villages in terms of materials, color matching, texture, and form. However, as people slowly walk into the building along the winding mountain road and then reach the roof along the spiraling upward walking route, they will feel a wonderful harmonious beauty.

The teahouse is divided into two floors, with tea drinking areas, tea art exchange areas, and viewing and leisure areas, each with an excellent view. Elegant curves run through the entire space, perfectly integrating the building and interior design to ensure the unity of the overall design. Through the panoramic floor-to-ceiling glass, villagers and tourists appreciate each other, becoming scenery for one another.
