The Bide cabin is a Dorset building, the brainchild of a design-loving couple. One is an architect at the London design firm LAMA, and the other works for the Scandinavian design Brand Åben. This charming holiday cabin was almost entirely built by hand during the pandemic lockdown, aiming to provide a private getaway for themselves while also being occasionally available for rent. The couple personally oversaw the design, product sourcing, and construction processes to ensure the project adhered to sustainable building principles, such as using local materials and eco-friendly construction techniques.
