Building-integrated photovoltaics (BIPV) is an application of distributed photovoltaic power generation systems. It organically combines photovoltaic power generation products with buildings, possessing both power generation and building material attributes. It offers solutions to a series of problems associated with traditional photovoltaic systems added to rooftops.

 

With the acceleration of urbanization and the improvement of people's living standards, coupled with industrial restructuring and the rapid development of the tertiary industry, which mainly relies on buildings to provide service venues, China's building energy consumption intensity and carbon emission intensity will increase significantly.
