The highest honor in global architecture! Congratulations to Professor Liu Jiakun on winning the 2025 Pritzker Prize

In this spring-filled season, the architectural world has welcomed exciting news—Chinese architect Professor Liu Jiakun has been awarded the 47th Pritzker Architecture Prize, becoming the 54th recipient of this highest honor in the global architectural world! We express our deepest respect and joy, and extend our warmest congratulations to Professor Liu Jiakun! This honor is not only an affirmation of his outstanding architectural talent but also international recognition of China's architectural strength.

The Grand Canal Hangang Park, as a shining example of Professor Liu Jiakun's design philosophy, witnesses the perfect fusion of "memory and rebirth." On this site of former industrial relics, Professor Liu, with extraordinary creativity, ingeniously interweaves the weight of history with the lightness of the future, allowing abandoned factories, blast furnaces, and railways to radiate new life. Hangang Park is not only a city landmark but also a model of urban renewal. It uses the rigid industrial relics as "exhibits" and the humble new buildings as "display stands," telling a story of dialogue between the past and the future and showcasing the rebirth of industrial heritage.

On this historically rich land,Longyan Energy is honored to be a subcontractor for the Grand Canal Hangang Park BIPV(Building-Integrated Photovoltaics)project, using cadmium telluride photovoltaic green technology to add new impetus to architectural aesthetics. We have deeply participated in the BIPV system design,custom-produced more than 740 square meters of cadmium telluride photovoltaic shading louvers, with an installed capacity of 62kW, and an estimated annual power generation of 62,000 kWh, equivalent to a reduction of about 62 tons of carbon dioxide emissions.

The use of Longyan cadmium telluride translucent photovoltaic glass as the shading louvers for the building facade is a highlight of this project. This is not only a choice of new green and energy-saving building materials but also an innovation in architectural concepts. With its unique advantages, cadmium telluride photovoltaic shading louvers represent a perfect combination of architectural aesthetics and functionality:

Harmonious coexistence of efficient power generation and light transmission:Transmittance can be flexibly adjusted according to needs, from 10% to 80%, meeting the natural needs of indoor lighting and achieving efficient power generation by absorbing more than 95% of sunlight, bringing both light and energy to the building space.

Stable performance in low-light environments:Whether it is rainy, or dawn or dusk, cadmium telluride photovoltaic louvers can generate stable electricity, significantly improving energy utilization and ensuring that every ray of light is not wasted.

Commitment to long life and low maintenance:The material life span exceeds 30 years; even if the power generation function ends, its value as a common building material remains undiminished. It is easy to maintain and has excellent stability.

Highly customized aesthetic pursuit:Color, pattern, light transmittance, Size... everything can be customized. Whether red, green, or blue, cadmium telluride photovoltaic louvers can perfectly blend with the building facade, becoming part of the building's exterior and showcasing unique aesthetic charm.

Green declaration of environmental protection and energy saving:Low carbon footprint during production, reduced building energy consumption during use, conforms to green building standards, and is a model of environmental protection and energy saving.

Quality assurance with safety and reliability:Low hot-spot effect, Class A fire rating; even when shaded, it can maintain a low temperature, reducing the risk of fire, and having better safety than traditional materials.

Flexible installation and strong temperature adaptability:Supports free-angle installation, low power generation efficiency decay in high-temperature environments, suitable for various climatic conditions, and demonstrating outstanding adaptability.

GREEN BUILDING
