Design Concept:The design makes use of passive design concepts, taking full advantage of natural lighting. An integrated design approach efficiently utilizes various green building technologies, such as geothermal heat pumps, solar thermal and photovoltaic energy. The interior design fully utilizes environmentally friendly materials, locally fast-growing materials, and recyclable materials to fully embody the concept of green building.
It has received awards including: Green Energy-Saving Demonstration Building, US LEED Platinum-level Green Building, and the 2013 Jingrui Award for "Gold Award in Architectural Design".
