Pollution Control Technology Park | Lianyungang Haizhou: Come and see what "black technologies" this building has

Recently, the launch ceremony of the heat pump zero-carbon experimental building was successfully held at the Lianyungang headquarters base of Taiyangyu Group in Haizhou District, Lianyungang City, marking the official start of the zero-carbon era for air-source heat pumps in the city. This heat pump zero-carbon experimental building, with an investment of 200 million yuan and a construction area of 32,000 square meters, has hidden some "black technologies." Let's take a look.

Cutting-edge Laboratory: The Innovative Pillar of Zero-Carbon Technology

Technological innovation in the air-source heat pump industry is inseparable from professional R&D laboratories. The zero-carbon experimental building plans to build 40 cutting-edge laboratories, including:The first domesticlarge-scale 1200kW ultra-low ambient temperature (-60℃) comprehensive performance laboratory;Unique to the heat pump industryhousehold and commercial long-term operation reliability laboratory;Leading international standards30kW and 80kW (US, EU, and Australian standards) heat pump enthalpy difference laboratory, precision semi-anechoic chamber, and extreme climate simulation laboratory, etc.

The laboratories cover multi-dimensional R&D needs such as extreme environment simulation, noise testing, and snowfall scenarios, together forming a comprehensive heat pump product testing system, providing strong support for promoting the technological innovation and application development of heat pumps for enterprises and the industry as a whole.

Zero Energy Consumption: A Practical Model of Zero-Carbon Solutions

The experimental building incorporates the zero-carbon concept from the design stage. Overall energy is supplied throughbuilding-integrated photovoltaics (BIPV) on the exterior walls + rooftop photovoltaics + energy storage system (ESS), as well as air-source heat pumps, geothermal heat pumps, and thermal energy storage systemsto meet the building's heating, cooling, and electricity needs.

The building has established a 1-megawatt distributed photovoltaic power generation system, with an annual power generation of 1.2 million kilowatt-hours,all self-generated and self-consumed.

A 500kW/1000kWh lithium battery energy storage system is configured, and the system operates in a peak-shaving and valley-filling mode, with an annual discharge of 616,000 kilowatt-hours.

The building has adopted low-carbon innovative technologies and products such as building day and night and cross-seasonal cold and heat storage temperature regulation systems to efficiently capture and store clean solar power, meeting the daily electricity needs of the experimental building.

According to calculations, this buildingcan reduce carbon dioxide emissions by about 1196 tons annually.

Under the guidance of the "dual carbon" goals, Haizhou District will continue to support the development of the clean energy sector, promote innovation and development of zero-carbon solutions by leading enterprises, and write a green chapter in China's new energy industry.
