The project is located in Baiyun District, Guangzhou, and is implemented byChina Construction Science and Technology using a contract energy management model,3.9MW BIPV distributed photovoltaic power generation system was installed on the roofs of the concrete mixing station and prefabricated component production plant in the park. Annually,It can provide about 4 million kWh of clean energy to the park and the city power grid,helping China Construction's new construction circular economy industrial park to achieve energy saving and emission reduction, and creating the industry's first low-carbon operation industrial park.

What are BAPV and BIPV?

 

 


BAPV (Building Attached Photovoltaics):

Photovoltaic modules are attached to buildings, such as roofs and walls. The main function is power generation, without changing or weakening the original function of the building. The initial investment is lower, installation is simple, and maintenance is convenient, but the energy efficiency is relatively low, and the overall appearance is poor. It is suitable for the renovation and upgrading of old buildings, etc.

BIPV (Building Integrated Photovoltaics):
