In Zurich, the building Spreitenbach by Green Umwelt Arena is specially formed with photovoltaic panels insulating the building shell.
The arena has 45 innovative exhibitions on the themes of nature and life, energy and transportation, architecture and renewable energy, as well as seminar rooms and restaurants.
In order to live up to its purpose on the stage, environmental awareness is also reflected in the energy consumption and construction details. The roof structure consists of insulated wooden box beam elements. Umwelt Arena is a Plus Energy building that generates 203 percent clean energy.
