2024-04-19

The price turmoil in the photovoltaic industry chain has led many companies to cut inputs, even sell or abandon projects. However, the BIPV field, stimulated by the lower cost threshold, has gradually become a "paradise". Since this year, it has attracted enterprises to cross-border layout from time to time, especially providing new opportunities for construction enterprises.

The policy side is also encouraging construction companies to integrate with clean energy such as photovoltaics. National policies such as "14th Five-Year Plan for Building Energy Conservation and Green Building Development" and "Whole County Photovoltaic" have been implemented one after another. BIPV-related standards have continued to mature, and the domestic building photovoltaic market is rapidly emerging. At present, more than 20 cities in 13 provinces, including Anhui, Zhejiang, Guangdong, Shaanxi and Jilin, have made clear the subsidy policy for photovoltaic buildings to help the BIPV industry.

Overall, as energy prices continue to rise and the cost of photovoltaic power generation continues to decrease, the yield of BIPV will become higher and higher. According to previous optimistic forecasts by relevant agencies, the total urban and rural construction area in my country exceeds 60 billion square meters, and the annual newly completed area is more than 4 billion square meters. If calculated according to the BIPV penetration rate of 2%, the BIPV market space of only new buildings is nearly 100 billion yuan per year, and taking into account the transformation of the stock of buildings, the long-term space of the BIPV market may exceed trillion yuan.

This paper summarizes 24 BIPV standards, covering the mechanical strength of photovoltaic modules, waterproof and fireproof performance, wind resistance, noise reduction performance, heat insulation performance, power generation performance, etc., for reference.
