Tianjin Zero Carbon Building-Sino-Singapore Tianjin Eco-City Public Housing Exhibition Center

2011 Zhongxin Tianjin Eco-city Public Housing Exhibition Center, completed in 2012, is a zero-energy building and has won the national three-star design and operation logo for green buildings. Combined with the project to carry out ultra-low energy consumption green building water-saving energy-saving technology system research. ("Zhongxin Tianjin Eco-city Public Housing Exhibition Center" won the first prize of Tianjin "Haihe Cup" excellent survey and design green building in 2014; Second Prize of National Green Building Innovation in 2015)
The Sino-Singapore Tianjin Eco-City Public Housing Exhibition Center integrates many advanced environmental protection technologies, such as rooftop solar photovoltaic panels providing sufficient electric energy, chimney effect-based ventilation system to realize indoor and outdoor air circulation, light guide tubes refracting and reflecting sunlight for indoor lighting, ground source heat pump for heating and cooling in buildings, etc. The whole building covers an area of 3467 m2. Through the application of advanced building technology and a variety of renewable energy sources, it has achieved zero carbon emissions and become the first zero carbon building in Tianjin.
The entire public housing exhibition center is a two-story building with a large diamond structure, not the traditional north facing south, but the direction of 15 degrees south by east. "The choice of the angle is based on the local sunshine time and intensity in Tianjin, and the time for photovoltaic panels to absorb the sun's light is more fully considered." The Director of Public Housing, Mr Hu Yudan, introduced. It turns out that solar photovoltaic panels are laid on a large area on the roof of the public housing exhibition center, and even the eaves buildings protruding forward in the middle of the building have become the "base" of photovoltaic panels ".
It is understood that the whole building has an area of 2600 m2 of solar photovoltaic panels and can generate 240000kWh of electricity per year, while the public housing exhibition center uses about 210000kWh of electricity per year. The intensity of the sun is different in a day. For this reason, there are a large number of batteries underground. When the electric energy generated by photovoltaic panels has a surplus, electric energy is stored, and when the electric energy is insufficient, electric energy is generated.
Geothermal energy and ventilation ensure somatosensory comfort
The central hall of the public housing exhibition center is directly connected to the roof of the building. The facade of the two-story building on both sides is not steel and concrete walls, but glass windows. "This is a high side window. On the one hand, it ensures the natural lighting of the hall, and on the other hand, it is also part of the building's ventilation system." Hu Yudan introduced. In the public housing exhibition center, there is a ventilation system based on the chimney effect. Through the underground pipe network, the exhibition center is connected with an outdoor air collecting shaft. Fresh air enters the exhibition center from the outdoor air collection shaft and pipe network, and then passes through the side high window and the indoor window of the office to realize the air flow in the building. When the outdoor temperature is suitable, the air conditioner can be reduced and the electric energy can be saved.
The window itself is Low-E (low-emissivity) glass, and a layer of film is added to the glass to ensure light transmittance and better heat insulation. The inclined design makes the sunlight shine directly on the window sill, while the window sill on the upper layer is made of smooth material, which refracts the sunlight, but only reflects light but not heat, thus controlling the indoor temperature loss to the maximum extent. In this way, when the air conditioner is turned on in summer, it does not inhale more heat, and when heating in winter, it does not dissipate heat, thereby saving energy consumption.
In winter, a large amount of energy is needed to ensure the indoor temperature, but in the public housing exhibition center, a ground source heat pump heating and cooling system is designed to use geothermal energy to heat the building. At the same time, in the exhibition hall of the public housing model room, capillary network heating is also designed, and ultra-thin capillary network with small load is installed on the roof to effectively improve heat transfer and reduce the impact of space transformation on the building.
The brightness of lamps is automatically adjusted by indoor brightness
The intelligent lighting system is designed in the exhibition center. The whole system adjusts the brightness of lamps and lanterns through the indoor brightness. Whether to turn on the lights in the office is completely determined by the natural brightness and the indoor brightness set by the system. In addition, the light guide tube in the lighting system directly utilizes natural light. The headlights that emit strong light on the roof are not made of electric light, but are formed by refracting and reflecting sunlight. In this way, even in the hall with large space and poor lighting, the brightness can be guaranteed. Finally, there is a control system that centrally manages the entire building. This system centrally monitors and manages the energy consumption of all equipment in the building, thereby further reducing energy consumption and saving resources.
