The staff restaurant of China State Construction and Development Far East Zhuhai production base integrated the low-carbon concept and advanced technology throughout the design and construction process, added technology and subtracted energy consumption to create a "near-zero carbon" pilot project. The surface of the restaurant is composed of 192 blocks on the top and 32 blocks of Longyan cadmium telluride photovoltaic building materials on the facade. From the outside, it looks like a "curtain wall box" covered with an energy-saving coat.
The façade of the restaurant is made of imitation natural marble, imitation wood grain, imitation aluminum plate and the latest gradient metal cadmium telluride photovoltaic power generation building materials, with rich layers and bright colors; the top is specially designed with 64 groups of cadmium telluride with a light transmittance of 20%. Power generation building materials make up the "FE" brand logo of the Far East curtain wall. Whenever night falls, the entire wall is shining brightly.
The restaurant’s cadmium telluride photovoltaic power generation building materials have an installation area of 322.56 square meters, an installed capacity of 36 kilowatts, and an average daily power generation of about 80-110 kWh. It can produce about 39,000 kWh of green electricity per year. Compared with thermal power with the same power generation, It can save 11.9 tons of standard coal every year and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by about 38.8 tons, which is equivalent to the emission reduction of 117 trees.
