Ladies and gentlemen, friends:

It is a great pleasure to gather on the "cloud" with more than 500 leaders of political parties and political organizations from more than 160 countries, and more than 10,000 political parties and representatives from all walks of life on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China. Responsibility" is an important proposition. During this period, more than 600 political parties and political organizations in more than 170 countries sent more than 1,500 congratulatory messages on the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, expressing their friendship and best wishes to the Communist Party of China. On behalf of the Communist Party of China, I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to you!

A few days ago, we held a conference to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China. Over the past 100 years, the Communist Party of China has united and led the Chinese people in continuous struggle, and promoted the Chinese nation to usher in a great leap from standing up, getting rich and becoming strong. Over the past 100 years, the Communist Party of China has insisted that the fate of the Chinese people and the people of the world are shared, grasping the direction of China's development in the context of the overall situation of the world and the trend of the times, and promoting the common development and prosperity of all countries.

The historic achievements of the Communist Party of China and the Chinese people are inseparable from the strong support of people all over the world. Here, on behalf of the Communist Party of China and the Chinese people, I would like to express my sincere thanks to the political parties, people and friends from all over the world who care about, support and help the Communist Party of China and China's cause of revolution, construction and reform!

The world today is undergoing major changes unseen in a century. The multi-polarization of the world and economic globalization are undergoing profound changes. Countries are becoming more interconnected, interdependent, and mutually influencing each other. In order to cope with the challenge of the new crown pneumonia epidemic, promote economic recovery, and maintain world stability, the international community has made arduous efforts, and political parties in various countries have made active explorations and demonstrated their responsibility. At the same time, wars and conflicts are still going on in some places, famine and diseases are still prevalent, estrangement and confrontation are still deepening, and the people of all countries are calling for a better life.

Today, human society is once again facing a historical juncture of where to go. Is it hostility and confrontation or mutual respect? Is it closed and decoupling or open cooperation? Is it a zero-sum game or mutual benefit and win-win? The choice is in our hands, and the responsibility is on our shoulders.

Human beings are a whole, and the earth is a home. In the face of common challenges, no one or any country can survive alone. The only way out for mankind is to help each other and live in harmony. As an important force to promote human progress, political parties must anchor the correct direction of progress and shoulder the historical responsibility of seeking happiness for the people and progress for mankind. In my opinion, political parties should try to do the following.

First, we must shoulder the responsibility of leading the way, grasping and shaping the common future of mankind. The people yearn for prosperity and well-being, as well as for fairness and justice. The big era needs a big pattern, and the big pattern calls for a big mind. From the perspective of "home country first", the world is small and crowded, and there is always "fierce competition". From the perspective of a shared destiny, the world is vast and there are opportunities for cooperation everywhere. We must listen to the aspirations of the people, follow the trend of the times, promote coordination and cooperation among countries, unify the interests of our own people with those of people around the world, and move towards building a community with a shared future for mankind.

Second, we must shoulder the responsibility of building consensus and uphold and promote the common values of all mankind. Different countries have different histories, cultures, systems, and development levels, but people of all countries pursue the common values of peace, development, fairness, justice, democracy, and freedom. We must be highly responsible for the future and destiny of mankind, be an advocate of the common value of all mankind, understand the understanding of value connotation in different civilizations with a broad mind, respect the exploration of the value realization path by people of different countries, and put the common value of all mankind into practice. Concretely and realistically reflected in the practice of realizing the interests of the people of the country.

Third, we must shoulder the responsibility of promoting development so that the fruits of development can benefit people of all countries more and more equitably. Development is the key to the realization of people's happiness. On the road of mankind's pursuit of happiness, no country or nation can be left behind. All countries and all nationalities in the world should enjoy equal development opportunities and rights. We must face major practical issues such as the gap between the rich and the poor and the development gap, pay attention to underdeveloped countries and regions, care for the poor, and let every piece of land breed hope. The ancient Chinese said: "Those who suit themselves and forget others will be abandoned by others; those who restrain themselves and stand up for others will be admired by all." Development is the right of all countries in the world, not the patent of a few countries. We want to encourage countries to strengthen development cooperation, and people of all countries to share the fruits of development, to enhance the fairness, effectiveness, and synergy of global development, and to jointly oppose anyone's technological blockade, technological divide, and decoupling of development. I believe that any political manipulation that threatens to obstruct the development of other countries and harm the lives of the people of other countries is unpopular and ultimately futile!

Fourth, we must shoulder the responsibility of strengthening cooperation and jointly address global risks and challenges. In the face of the still raging new crown pneumonia epidemic, we must adhere to scientific policies, advocate solidarity and cooperation, bridge the "immunity gap", oppose politicization of the epidemic and virus labeling, and jointly promote the construction of a human health community. In the face of terrorism and other common enemies of mankind, we must seek security and stability through cooperation, and build a "fence" of security together. In the face of the fragile ecological environment, we must insist on respecting nature, conforming to nature, protecting nature, and building a green home together. Facing the severe challenges that climate change poses to human survival and development, we must take on the responsibility and work together to seek a way of harmonious coexistence between man and nature.

Fifth, we must shoulder the responsibility of improving governance and continuously enhance our ability to seek happiness for the people. The roads to happiness are not the same, and people of all countries have the right to choose their own development paths and institutional models, which in itself is the proper meaning of people's happiness. Democracy is also the right of the people of all countries, not the monopoly of a few countries. There are many ways to achieve democracy, and there is no one-size-fits-all approach. Whether a country is democratic or not should be judged by the people of the country, not by a few people! We need to strengthen exchanges and mutual learning, improve communication mechanisms, grasp social conditions and public opinions, improve organizational systems, improve governance capabilities, and promote The construction of democratic politics in accordance with the national conditions will continuously improve the ability and effectiveness of seeking happiness for the people.

Seeking happiness for the people is the original aspiration that the Communist Party of China has always adhered to. Today, China has achieved the goal of building a moderately prosperous society in all respects, and embarked on a new journey to build a modern socialist country in an all-round way. The Chinese people's sense of gain, happiness, and security has been continuously improved. It is the unswerving goal of the Communist Party of China to run China's affairs well, enable more than 1.4 billion Chinese people to live a better life, and promote the noble cause of peace and development of mankind. The Communist Party of China will adhere to the people-centered development idea, think about the profound propositions of national rejuvenation and human progress in the grand space-time dimension, unite and lead the Chinese people to seek and forge ahead, and create a better future.

History tells us that only by embracing the world can we embrace tomorrow; only by working together can we make steady progress. The Communist Party of China is willing to work together with political parties of other countries to make dreams come true and actions make the future, and to be a builder of world peace, a contributor to global development, and a defender of international order.

——The Communist Party of China will unite and lead the Chinese people to further advance Chinese-style modernization and make new contributions to mankind's exploration of the road to modernization. The Communist Party of China insists on proceeding from reality in everything and leads the Chinese people to explore the road of socialism with Chinese characteristics. History and practice have proved and will further prove that this path is not only right and smooth, but also stable and good. We will unswervingly walk along this bright road, not only developing ourselves but also benefiting the world. There is no fixed pattern on the road to modernization, the one that suits you is the best, and you can't cut the foot to fit the shoe. Every country's efforts to independently explore a modernization path that suits its own national conditions should be respected. The Communist Party of China is willing to exchange and learn from each other's experience in modernization construction with political parties of other countries, jointly enrich the path to modernization, and better seek happiness for the people of its own country and the people of the world.

——The Communist Party of China will unite and lead the Chinese people to comprehensively deepen reform and expand opening up, and make new contributions to the common development and prosperity of all countries in the world. At present, although economic globalization is facing many obstacles, there are more driving forces. Overall, the driving forces outweigh the obstacles. The general trend of countries moving towards opening up and cooperation has not changed and will not change. The Communist Party of China is willing to strengthen communication with political parties in other countries, and jointly guide the development of economic globalization in a more open, inclusive, inclusive, balanced and win-win direction. We are willing to strengthen cooperation with the international community in high-quality joint construction of the "Belt and Road", and jointly make incremental progress in promoting global connectivity, so that more countries and more people can share the fruits of development.

——The Communist Party of China will fulfill its responsibilities as a major country and party, and make new contributions to improving the well-being of mankind. Poverty eradication is the common aspiration of people of all countries and an important goal that political parties of all countries strive to achieve. Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, 98.99 million rural poor people under China's current standards have all been lifted out of poverty, and the poverty reduction goal of the "United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development" has been achieved 10 years ahead of schedule. The Communist Party of China is willing to contribute more Chinese solutions and Chinese power to the process of human poverty reduction. China will fully support international anti-epidemic cooperation and make vaccines more accessible and affordable in developing countries. China will make extremely arduous efforts to fulfill its carbon peak and carbon neutrality commitments, and make greater contributions to the global response to climate change. China will host the 15th Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity, discuss with all parties a new strategy for global biodiversity governance, and jointly start a new process of global biodiversity governance.

——The Communist Party of China will actively promote the improvement of global governance and make new contributions to the joint efforts of human society to meet common challenges. The core concept of the current international system and international order is multilateralism. The better multilateralism is practiced, the better will be the solutions to the common problems faced by mankind. International rules should be rules recognized by all countries in the world, and should not be formulated by a few people. Cooperation among countries should be aimed at serving all mankind, rather than seeking world hegemony through clique politics. We must jointly oppose various acts of unilateralism in the name of multilateralism, and jointly oppose hegemonism and power politics. China will resolutely uphold the purposes and principles of the UN Charter, advocate that international affairs should be handled through consultation, and promote the development of the international order and system in a more just and reasonable direction. I would like to reiterate that China will always be a member of the big family of developing countries and will be unswervingly committed to increasing the representation and voice of developing countries in the international governance system. China will never seek hegemony, engage in expansion, or seek spheres of influence. The Communist Party of China will work with political parties in other countries to promote coordination and cooperation among countries through inter-party consultation and cooperation, and better play the due role of political parties in global governance.

If the road is obstructed and long, it will come soon; if you keep going, the future can be expected. The road ahead will have twists and turns, but it is also full of hope. The Communist Party of China is willing to continue to work with political parties and political organizations of other countries to stand on the right side of history and human progress, and make new and greater contributions to promoting the building of a community with a shared future for mankind and building a better world!
