Shanxi Datong Future Energy Pavilion

In Shanxi Datong Future Energy Pavilion, through the application of building-integrated photovoltaics on the upper part of the building and the roof as a whole, a light and flexible "cloud" image is created.

The installed capacity of the project is nearly 1MW. The exterior surface of the building is used to realize photovoltaic power generation of the building body through BIPV technology. All building electricity is converted from its own photovoltaic power generation building materials. It is equipped with DC micro-grid technology with energy storage to improve the utilization of renewable energy. Efficiency, to achieve the goal of "zero energy consumption" building energy consumption.

The building area of the energy museum is about 28,000 square meters, and the exhibition area is about 18,000 square meters, covering three floors above ground and one basement. Looking from a distance, the inlaid photovoltaic curtain walls shine with metallic luster in the sunlight, adding a sense of mystery and technology to the Future Energy Pavilion.

The BIPV project selected different materials according to different building locations such as walls, roofs, and awnings: the facade is made of copper indium gallium selenide thin-film solar photovoltaic modules (CIGS) and cadmium telluride thin-film solar modules (CdTe); It is a monocrystalline silicon photovoltaic module.

After the installation of photovoltaics, the pavilion displays the Shanxi landscape, Shanxi path, and Shanxi wisdom of the energy revolution in an all-round way, and will become a typical demonstration of the vanguard of the energy revolution in Shanxi Province.
