The main body of the settlement is made of bamboo steel material with the characteristics of stability, fast heat dissipation, beautiful appearance and low-carbon environmental protection, which not only reflects the regional culture, but also makes the building passive and energy-saving, realizes indoor air circulation, and improves the indoor environment.

The facade of Coconut Grove Settlement adopts Longyan cadmium telluride film light-transmitting photovoltaic power generation glass. On the one hand, it increases the modern appearance of the building. Practice the green concept of energy saving and environmental protection. According to statistics, the facade of Coconut Grove Village adopts a 350*350mm size structure, with a total of 1,518 pieces of cadmium telluride thin-film power generation glass. The installed photovoltaic power exceeds 16.6kW, and the annual power generation is about 18,000 kilowatt-hours, which is equivalent to an annual reduction of nearly 18 tons. In addition to the low-carbon garden coconut grove settlement, the zero-carbon demonstration zone also built an organic waste treatment workshop, which realized a closed loop of organic waste treatment, zero waste discharge, and a 100% utilization rate on site. According to the design of the available area on the roof of the processing workshop, a total of 576 Longyan standard cadmium telluride thin-film photovoltaic modules have been installed, with a photovoltaic installed capacity of 62.2kW and an annual power generation of about 81,000 kilowatt-hours, which is equivalent to reducing nearly 81 tons of carbon dioxide per year. emissions.

In addition, the glass curtain wall on the southwest facade of the processing workshop is the first to use the combination of U-shaped glass and cadmium telluride thin-film photovoltaic power generation glass, which not only saves land area, but also solves the problem of traditional curtain walls such as many frames, difficult installation, and large span. Disadvantages; According to statistics, the installed capacity of the U-shaped glass photovoltaic curtain wall in the treatment workshop is 7.3kW, and the annual power generation is about 4,400 kWh.
