Crystal Cube BIPV Prefabricated Mounting System: Low-Profile Photovoltaic Canopy Case Study
This project is being implemented in Xiamen, Fujian. Taking into account the local climate and geographical characteristics, it adopts a combined solution of double‑slope solar canopies paired with photovoltaic arrays. The canopies utilize our modular assembly system, specifically designed for sites with height restrictions, which offers distinct advantages over conventional open‑air PV arrays: lower canopy height and more compact panel arrangements. The installed capacity can be 2 to 4 times that of a conventional array. The roof has built-in waterproofing, yet the overall construction cost remains comparable.
This modular system is easy and convenient to install, significantly boosting construction efficiency. It not only reduces labor and construction costs but also shortens the overall project schedule, enabling rapid completion and grid‑connection for power generation.
